Retail Banker

We currently have a full-time Retail Banker position open for immediate placement. Hours will be 8:30 am – 5:00 pm; Monday through Friday (30-minute lunch) with a rotating Saturday.

Primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Facilitate Opening of Business and Consumer New Deposit, Safe Deposit Box and Loan Accounts
  • Routine Follow up Tasks and In-Person Customer Service Requests and Teller services.
  • Opening deposit and consumer loan accounts and expanding customer relationships.

Performance Expectations:

  • Successful sales of new loan and deposit products by attaining personal sales and referral goals.
  • Achieve effective maximization of digital delivery channels including online banking, mobile banking, and e-statements.
  • Core deposit, credit card and loan growth and retention in accordance with bank goals through Relationship Management and other initiatives.
  • Satisfactory service and maintenance of new and existing customer relationships.
  • Update and maintain performance progress in CRM system.

Bank Operations Associate

We currently have a full-time Bank Operations Associate position open for immediate placement. Hours will be 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; Monday through Friday.

Primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Performs account maintenance on the bank core processing system including transactions, identification verifications, address changes, account access permissions, & closed account procedures.
  • Reviews daily reports pertaining to balancing of accounts, transaction activity, and fraud monitoring.
  • Performs Insufficient Funds decisioning, processing of ACH & check returns, compliance reporting, and closing of account procedures.
  • Processing and monitoring of outgoing client-originated ACH files including review of transmittals letters and verifying file totals while communicating with customers.
  • Completes incoming and outgoing domestic and international wire transfer requests. Transactions are completed with dual control while ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulations.
  • Provides customer support with digital banking products such as web, mobile, and bill pay.
  • Performs initial setup, training, and support for treasury management solutions including ACH, remote deposit, and positive pay. This includes completing and maintaining customer agreements.
  • Monitors suspicious activity, kiting, OFAC and FinCen screening, as well as other fraudulent anomalies.
  • Supports and monitors the distribution of electronic statements for all account types.
  • Performs a variety of customer service functions including the ordering of ATM/Debit cards and checks, statement printing, account research, stop payments and disputes, as well as managing transaction limits and exceptions.
  • Customer service is provided via phone inquiries, secure e-mail, and occasionally in-person.
  • Provides support to all bank departments in the maintenance and researching of accounts and activity.
  • Documents client interactions via customer relationship management application (CRM).
  • Other duties as assigned.

We’re looking for individuals who possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a financial institution required.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills to provide support to all bank departments and customers.
  • Utilizes analytical ability to operate data processing systems & parameters.
  • Apply critical thinking while researching and resolving customer & bank issues.
  • Utilizes computer technology while working with vendors to meet customer service needs.

Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer

We are currently seeking a full-time VP, Commercial Loan Officer. Hours will be 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. This person oversees and manages a commercial loan portfolio. Designs, develops and implements solicitation programs to attract new customers in the business community, including participation in the Bank’s business development program.

Primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Promotes favorable image of the financial institution in all business activities within the community.
  • Gathers and analyzes data to assist development and to build new loan business for the Bank.
  • Assists in product and service development to ensure customer satisfaction and bank profitability, recommends upgrades, elimination or future development of under-performing products and services, and development or introduction of new products and services when necessary.
  • Analyzes the credit history of applicants and determines their loan repayment capabilities.
  • Negotiates credit terms, such as costs, loan repayment methods and collateral specifications.
  • Develops and maintains interest rate structure to be consistent with bank policies and procedures, and to be competitive with current market rates.
  • Evaluates potential customer loan requests and makes loan recommendations to management.
  • Reviews new laws and regulations that influence business lending within the bank, makes recommendations to management.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of commercial lending experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of lending policies and procedures.
  • Extensive knowledge of lending services and related areas.
  • Good communication, sales and public relations skills.
  • Understanding of financial institution policies and procedures.
  • Good interviewing and research skills.
